Due to the Avian Influenza outbreak in parts of the country, New York State has created restrictions that affect poultry events.  These restrictions apply to any poultry being moved into the state and are as follows –

All live poultry moved into New York State must be:

•       From a source flock in which 30 birds were tested for avian influenza within 10 days prior to entry into New York State;  or

•       From a source flock that has been certified by the state of origin as an Avian Influenza Monitored Flock; or

•       From a source flock certified as clean of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) under the National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP).

Any participant coming from outside of New York State will need to comply in one of the above ways.
